BOOKABLE PLAYGROUND FOR DOGS - COMING SOON TO SOUTH LONDON

Sniff. Dig. Climb. Splash. Explore. Play. Train. And flop down afterwards.
Help us bring it to South London.

YOUR DOG'S HAPPY PLACE.
The Grove Grounds will be a secure, enclosed playground in South London, bookable for you and your dog(s) – designed around something very simple: the things dogs genuinely love to do.
Think places to dig, water to splash in, things to climb and balance on, winding paths and planting to explore, games to work out, and quieter spots to potter around or settle down.
There'll be space to play and train off lead too – all without the distractions of a busy public park.
A proper outing for your dog, with plenty for them to discover.
We’re planning a space filled with different things to see, smell, explore and do.
Think scent trails and sniffing areas, digging and water play, natural obstacles, different textures, places to investigate, games to try together and quieter spots when it’s time to slow down.
There’ll be different ways to enjoy the space, whether your dog loves getting stuck into an activity, following their nose, learning something new or taking their time over a particularly interesting smell.
Because sometimes the sniffing is the activity. The digging is the activity. The exploring is the activity.
And sometimes, of course, they just want to run around like a lunatic.
South London has brilliant parks. The Grove Grounds isn’t trying to replace them.
It’s another option – somewhere dogs can play, train and enjoy time off lead in their own space, including those who can’t always have that freedom in a busy public park.
And because it’s bookable, that time is yours.
The Grove Grounds won’t be an empty field with some dog equipment dropped into it.
The plan is for it to feel green, planted and full of things to discover – with natural materials, winding routes and planting that’s part of the dogs’ experience.
I also want to make room for bees, insects, birds and other urban wildlife.
Good for dogs. Thoughtful about where it lives.
There’ll be places for you to sit while your dog explores, plays, potters about or eventually flops down beside you.
Come for a play. Bring a coffee or a picnic. Take your time.
The outing is for both of you.
The Grove Grounds doesn't exist yet. We're currently looking for the right South London location, and the final layout and features will depend on the site we find.
If this sounds like somewhere you and your dog would love, we'd love you to register your interest and help us bring it to life.

Because dogs deserve more than somewhere to run.
A good walk is brilliant. So is a big open field.
But dogs don't only want to move - they want to sniff, investigate, solve things, play, explore and make choices.
The Grove Grounds is being designed to give them more of those opportunities, all in one place.
Not just space. Things to do with it.
This is Indy, my rescue Patterdale.
He’s curious, adventurous and happiest when he has the freedom to sniff, investigate, explore and generally follow whatever has caught his attention.
I kept thinking how brilliant it would be to have somewhere designed around exactly that - somewhere he could properly do his thing, with plenty to discover, while I could relax and enjoy the experience with him.
That idea became The Grove Grounds.
A space built around what dogs love to do, with the freedom to enjoy it in their own way.
The Grove Grounds is still at the idea and planning stage, and now I’d love South London’s dogs - and the people who know them best - to help shape what it becomes.
Whether you have a question, an idea to share, or simply want to learn a little more about what we're creating, we'd love to hear from you.
